NavDisha Educational & Charitable Trust
Purpose of Donations
Donations made to NavDisha Educational & Charitable Trust are voluntary contributions intended to support the charitable, educational, and social welfare activities of the Trust. All donations are utilized strictly in accordance with the objectives and purposes outlined in the Trust Deed.
Acceptance of Donations
The Trust accepts donations in the form of cash, bank transfer, online payment modes, or in kind, subject to applicable laws and regulations. Acceptance of any donation is at the discretion of the Trust, and the Trust reserves the right to refuse or return any donation that does not comply with legal or ethical standards.
Utilization of Funds
- All donations are applied solely for charitable and educational purposes.
- No portion of the donation shall be used for personal benefit of any Trustee or member.
- Funds may be allocated to programs, projects, administrative expenses, and operational costs necessary for achieving Trust objectives.
Donation Receipts
Donors may receive an acknowledgment or receipt for their donation, subject to the mode of donation and applicable legal requirements. Issuance of tax exemption certificates, if any, shall be governed by prevailing laws and registrations obtained by the Trust.
Refund Policy
Donations made to the Trust are generally non-refundable, as they are voluntary contributions made for public charitable purposes.
However, a refund may be considered under exceptional circumstances, such as:
- Duplicate payment made by the donor
- Technical error during online transaction
- Donation made in error with immediate notification to the Trust
Any request for refund must be made in writing within 7 days from the date of donation, along with valid proof of payment. The decision of the Trust regarding refunds shall be final and binding.
Processing of Refunds
Approved refunds, if any, will be processed through the original mode of payment within a reasonable time frame. The Trust shall not be responsible for delays caused by banks, payment gateways, or third-party service providers.
Cancellation of Donation
Once a donation is successfully processed, it cannot be cancelled, except under the exceptional circumstances mentioned in the Refund Policy section above.
Tax Exemption
Donations to the Trust may be eligible for tax benefits only if and when the Trust obtains the relevant statutory registrations under applicable Income Tax laws. Donors are advised to consult their tax advisors for eligibility and compliance.
Policy Changes
NavDisha Educational & Charitable Trust reserves the right to modify or update this Donation & Refund Policy at any time, without prior notice. Any changes will be effective immediately upon being published on the Trust’s website.
